It's time for holiday enchantment as festive lights turn on all over town. Seen by car or on foot, light shows make a dazzling holiday backdrop, geared to catch your attention and warm your holiday heart. Here are some 2025 shows to see.

BAYVILLE WINTER WONDERLAND

Walk around an outdoor holiday Winter Wonderland park, surrounded by decorations and lights. Attractions include ice skating, Toy Factory Fun House walk-through and Magical Santa Experience (photos with Santa and a letter sent to your child from Santa). Also enjoy the Holiday Express train ride, the Christmas tree forest and holiday character meet-and-greet, as well as holiday arts and crafts. Haunted Christmas featuring three Christmas-themed haunted houses will be available for adults and older kids 8-10 p.m. Dec. 12-13 and 19-20. Reserved timed entry, buy tickets in advance. 

  • When Dec. 5 through Dec. 21: 6-10 p.m. Fri., 4-10 p.m. Sat., 4-9 p.m. Sun., closed Mon.-Thurs. Also, open 4-9 p.m. Dec. 26-Dec. 30, 4-8 p.m. Dec. 31-Jan. 1 (Closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day).

CHRISTMAS HOUSE LONG ISLAND

Indoor family-friendly walk-through holiday experience includes a real snow room, interactive games, trivia and a movie theater.

Girl Scouts of Suffolk County hosts an Enchanted Forest holiday walk-through light show. Tickets will be sold at the gate or online (no cash at the gate).

LONG BEACH HOLIDAY LIGHTS ON THE BOARDWALK

Take a walk by the ocean and experience a nautical-themed holiday light display along the Long Beach Boardwalk.

  • When Dec. 5 through Jan. 1 daily at dusk.

This outdoor exhibit is an immersive walk-through experience featuring handcrafted lantern sculptures illuminated from within. The theme this year is “Fantasy Winter Fairyland,” featuring new light art displays. Also hop aboard the Lumi Express, a holiday train ride that offers a journey through the lights.

  • When 4:30-9:30 p.m. Nov. 7-Jan. 1; closed Mondays and Tuesdays prior to Dec. 14; also closed on Thanksgiving Day and Dec. 24-25.
  • Cost Tickets start at $33 and will be sold for timed admission entry; purchase tickets online or at the door.

MAGIC OF LIGHTS AT JONES BEACH

Experience Magic of Lights, a drive-through that takes you down winding paths filled with sparkling lights, holiday-themed displays and familiar characters. The holiday tradition features displays using LED technology and digital animations. Print out a letter to Santa and drop it off at the mailbox. Stop in the Jolly Holiday Village to see the illuminated trees, take pictures with Santa, visit concessions and more. Advance ticket purchase suggested.

  • When Nov. 22-Jan. 3; 5-10 p.m. Sun.-Thurs., 5-11 p.m. Fri.-Sat.

RIVERHEAD HOLIDAY LIGHT SHOW

The drive-through holiday light show features light tunnels and hundreds of light displays synchronized to music that you can broadcast from your car radio.

TOWN OF BABYLON HOLIDAY LIGHTS

Walk around a vendor market, meet Santa and Mrs. Claus, visit the gingerbread house and see Town Hall decorated and covered with lights. Enter from Sunrise Highway on North Indiana Avenue.

TOWN OF ISLIP HOLIDAY LIGHT SHOW
