Seeing concerts at Jones Beach is a summer tradition on Long Island. But catching free concerts there is even better. The 2025 lineup at the Jones Beach Bandshell, presented by Catholic Health, at Field 4, has been announced and kicked off withg Long Island’s Pink Floyd tribute band Eclipse.

“We all grew up loving Pink Floyd; because of that passion for the music, we hone in on the details of recordings,” lead guitarist and band founder Doug Friedrich of Carle Place says. “People can see that intensity when we play.”

The two-hour set will consist of cuts from Floyd’s most famous albums — “Animals,” “Wish You Were Here,” “The Dark Side of the Moon” and “The Wall.” Laser lights will also be incorporated with the show.

“This music is timeless. Even today’s teenagers are listening to Pink Floyd,” Friedrich says. “The complexity of the music makes it evergreen. It’s almost like playing classical music. Each song has different sections.”

All shows begin at 7:30 p.m. For more information, visit: facebook.com/JonesBeachBandshell.
