Suspected homicide of Yolandus Pratt, 34, of Bay Shore, under investigation, police say

Homicide detectives are investigating the killing of a man found in a parking lot of the Bay Shore Long Island Rail Road station early Sunday morning, Suffolk County police said.
According to a police news release, patrolling Third Precinct officers came across an unconscious man in the north parking lot of the station at around 2:30 a.m. The man was "a victim of violence," the release said.
The man, identified by police as Yolandus Pratt, 34, of Bay Shore, was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead.
Police asked that any person with information about what happened call the Homicide Squad at 631-852-6392 or Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS. Calls will be kept confidential, police said.
