Man in Manorville home slashed, injured during domestic incident, Suffolk police say

A man was slashed and injured in a domestic incident on Saturday afternoon in Manorville, Suffolk County police said.
The man was wounded after being slashed at a home on Moriches-Middle Island Road around 3 p.m., a police spokesperson said in a statement. One person has been taken into custody in connection with the incident, police said.
The victim was transported to a hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening, officials said.
Police did not immediately release the identities of those involved or details about the circumstances leading up to the altercation.
Detectives from Suffolk County Police's Seventh Squad are investigating the incident, officials said.
