Police seek help finding person who set fire to truck in Central Islip

Suffolk police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a person who set a white box truck on fire in Central Islip in May.

On May 24 around 3:30 a.m., video footage captured an individual who set fire to a 2014 International truck at trucking company Consolidated Bulk Carriers Inc., at 43 Windsor Place.

The surveillance video posted on the Suffolk County Police Department's YouTube channel shows a hooded figure walking up to a row of parked trucks.

Police did not report the extent of the damage caused by the fire.

Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this arson is encouraged to submit an anonymous tip to police.
