A Shirley man was arrested on Wednesday morning on felony child pornography charges, Suffolk County police said.
Miguel Lisandro, 24, was charged with promoting a sexual performance by a child and possessing a sexual performance by a child, authorities said.
Following a tip from the New York State Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, detectives from the Suffolk County Police Digital Forensics Unit executed a search warrant at Lisandro's Revilo Avenue home shortly after 6 a.m., authorities said.
Detectives said they found child pornography on Lisandro's personal electronic devices.
Lisandro is expected to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip later Wednesday.
