Motorcyclist killed in Glen Head crash, police say

Nassau County police are investigating a crash that killed a motorcyclist in Glen Head on Friday evening, according to a news release from the department.
The crash happened on Scudders Lane just before 6 p.m. A 36-year-old man was headed eastbound on a black 2023 Kawasaki motorcycle when he "lost control and struck a utility pole," police wrote in the release.
The motorcyclist was seriously injured and was later pronounced dead after being taken to a hospital, police said.
Police did not identify the victim or provide any further details about the crash.
