President Donald Trump's sweeping agenda since his return to office has affected Long Islanders in many ways, from the tax cuts in his "Big, Beautiful Bill" to cuts in safety net programs and stepped up efforts to oust undocumented people.
The Environmental Protection Agency — led by Long Island native Lee Zeldin — recently repealed an Obama-era legal finding that has been used for 17 years to regulate and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
