Trump praises police, Blakeman

Trump began his remarks with praising law enforcement, telling the audience, “You have to… let them do their job. You won't have any problem. That includes right here on Long Island.”
He also called Blakeman “a great person and friend of mine for a long time.”
“He's going to win. I feel it,” Trump said, referring to Blakeman's run for governor. “Under Bruce, Nassau county has been rated the #1 safest county in the United States.”
The crowd erupted in cheers.
Nassau was first awarded that designation before Blakeman took office.
Trump also asked the crowd if there's anyone "in favor of defunding the police?”
The crowd shouted, “no!”
