Long Island Index Transportation Reports

In addition to measuring key transportation indicators on an annual basis, the Long Island Index did a number of reports to measure the economic and fiscal impacts of expanding the LI Rail Road by building the long-debated Third Track on the Main Line. While previously the debates about the track expansion focused on the potential impact to the local communities, the Index reports showed that the gains to the region overall would also translate into significant gains for the local communities.
