Yankee Stadium to offer bigger food menu for the 2026 season

Yankee Stadium unveiled its new food menu for 2026, with 20 new items added for this baseball season. It features legendary spots, the return of celebrity chefs and the addition of a new family business that went from a bake sale to the big leagues.
Lobel’s has been a spot Yankee fans have loved for years. It’s been in business since 1840 and at Yankee Stadium for 17 seasons. Their renowned steak sandwich is back, and they’ve also added a new item.
“Brand new for this year we’ve got pastrami loaded fries,” Mark Lobel, co-owner of Lobel’s, said. “It’s pastrami over french fries, with horseradish cream sauce, Mike’s mustard and a pickle. It’s just a home run. No pun intended.”
Streetbird returns, and celebrity chef Marcus Samuelsson has added a “Sticky Que Chicken Sandwich” with crispy chicken, M’s signature spice blend, barbecue sauce, slaw, pickles and ranch dressing.
The other item is the “Bird Dog 2.0.” The combination of chicken and a hot dog is back, and this time it’s with peppers, onions and mustard aioli added.
“It’s the best of two worlds combining, right?” Samuelsson said. “You’re watching a beautiful game with your family, why not have some fried chicken and a dog all in one bite? It’s really delicious and this all goes really well together. It’s something you can chew on, munch on and be like, ‘Wow, I’m having a great afternoon.’”
Another returning place to Yankee Stadium is Christian Petroni’s Parm to Table. Petroni, a Bronx native, has added three pasta dishes, including antipasto salad, mozzarella en carrozza and pasta plates including alla vodka, 8-hour marinara and arrabbiata.
For dessert, it’s his affogato featuring Mister Softee vanilla panna, Nutella and espresso.
“This year we really went all out,” Petroni said. “I have the Mister Softee theme song engraved in my head. This is my second year partnering with them and it couldn’t be a more authentic, true relationship.
“To be making good coffee, putting it over the Mister Softee soft serve, a little bit of Nutella. What are we really doing here? Not reinventing the wheel, but we’re doing stuff we love.”
Brooklyn Dumpling Shop will be in Yankee Stadium again, and they’ve added four new items to their menu: a bacon cheeseburger dumpling, chicken parm dumpling and mac and cheese dumpling. They didn’t forget dessert either. The last item is an apple pie dumpling, which involves warm apple pie topped with caramel, cinnamon and powdered sugar.
Legends Global added a pair of new food options. The MVP Burger is loaded, featuring two wagyu beef patties, American cheese, caramelized onions, onion rings, tomato bacon jam, secret sauce, a brioche bun and dill pickles.
Along with that, a chicken bucket is now turned into dessert. The mini dessert chicken bucket is drumstick-shaped ice cream with a chocolate-covered cookie “bone” center and a coating of white chocolate and candied corn flakes.
New partners are now in the mix if you’re looking for treats. Magnolia Bakery and Treathouse have been added this season.
Treathouse, a local New York City business, is a place to grab Rice Krispies treats, and it rose through the ranks higher than they’d ever imagined.
“It started back in 2012, Jennifer Russell, founder of Treathouse, said. "It was just a bake sale with our kids in the Upper West Side of Manhattan. They were just 6 and 8 at the time and now one of them is graduating from college. It’s just surreal. I even got tears in my eyes when we got the call that we get to be at Yankee Stadium.”
