Yankees' Cody Bellinger hits two of club's four home runs in rout of Royals

Cody Bellinger hit a pair of two-run homers and drove in five runs as the Yankees rolled to a 13-4 rout of the Kansas City Royals on Saturday afternoon at the Stadium.
Will Warren (2-0) tied a career high with 11 strikeouts and pitched two-run ball for seven innings.
Amed Rosario and Bellinger hit two-run homers and Ben Rice added a solo shot during a five-run third against lefthander Noah Cameron, with the latter two blasts reaching the second deck in rightfield.
Bellinger also contributed an RBI single in the fourth and a two-run homer off Mitch Spence in the sixth.
The Yankees capitalized on a three-base error by centerfielder Kyle Isbel to ignite the big inning. J.C. Escarra hit a long fly to right-center and Isbel knocked the ball out of rightfielder Jac Caglianone’s glove as they converged. The play originally was scored a triple and changed to an error.
Escarra added an RBI double and a two-run triple. Rosario also had an RBI single.
Randal Grichuk picked up his first RBI as a Yankee with a late sacrifice fly.
Carter Jensen hit a two-run homer in the seventh as the Royals lost their sixth straight and ninth in 11 games.
