Cam Skattebo hasn’t made too many public appearances since having season-ending ankle surgery in Week 8. But the Giants rookie running back changed that this week.

On Monday, he and fellow rookie Abdul Carter were seated ringside at WWE’s "Monday Night Raw" at Madison Square Garden. The two, along with several teammates, then got into a scripted scuffle with the wrestling faction Judgment Day.

Skattebo, wearing a Matt Rempe Rangers jersey, and wrestler Dominik Mysterio got face-to-face ringside after Mysterio exchanged words with comedian Andrew Schulz about New York’s lack of championships. Mysterio then taunted Skattebo, saying he didn’t know the answer before shoving Schultz.

Skattebo then got in Mysterio’s face with Carter and defensive lineman Roy Robertson-Harris standing behind Skattebo for backup. When Mysterio's teammate JD McDonagh approached Skattebo, Skattebo shoved McDonagh to the ground, which sparked pushing and shoving between the Giants and Judgment Day. Naturally, Skattebo remained in the middle of the action despite recovering from a dislocated ankle.

It was his second public appearance this week. Skattebo arrived at Sunday’s game on a scooter and did his traditional “Woo” yell when he made his way into the locker room. He appeared not to be on the scooter Monday night.

The scuffle added some local flair to the event, which was billed as wrestler John Cena’s final visit to the Garden. It also introduced more people to Skattebo’s rambunctious energy that made him a star prior to his injury.

On Tuesday, Skattebo took to social media to respond to those criticizing his appearance at "Raw" while recovering from his injury.

"Aye, honestly if you don’t like that I’m having a good time while dealing with a tough time, then just go ahead and unfollow and casually move on," Skattebo wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter. "I’m not able to play football and have the fun I’ve been having my whole life so I am doing things outside the box trying to find stuff to keep me happy. Enjoy the rest of y’all’s week and just don’t talk about me if you ain’t got nothing nice to say."
