Could Odell Beckham Jr. reunite with the Giants? There are more signs pointing toward yes.

Beckham worked out at the Giants’ facility on Monday and took a physical, a league source confirmed to Newsday. It comes after the receiver met with coach John Harbaugh during the NFL owners’ meetings last month in Arizona.

“He and I do talk and text and maintain a really great relationship,” said Harbaugh, who coached Beckham on the Ravens in 2023. “He is one of my favorite people in the world.”

Beckham, 33, last played in 2024 for nine games with the Dolphins. Yet naturally, there’s the allure of returning to where Beckham had his greatest success.

He spent his first five seasons with the Giants and had more than 1,000 receiving yards in four of them. He was Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2014 and became a national sensation that season after his one-handed touchdown catch against the Cowboys on Sunday Night Football.

Beckham made the Pro Bowl in each of his first three seasons and was a two-time All-Pro second-team selection. The Giants traded him in 2019 to the Browns and an ACL injury in 2020 altered the trajectory of Beckham’s career. He won a Super Bowl with the Rams in 2021.

Still, a chance to have one more season with the Giants is tempting. Beckham played last month in the Fanatics Flag Football Classic in Los Angeles and was open to returning to the Giants and playing with quarterback Jaxson Dart.

“If that opportunity presents itself, I would love to do that,” Beckham told Kay Adams at the event. “Be excited about that. He’s a good dude, he’s young and he likes to dance. I like all that.”

After working out with the Giants, Beckham might be closer to finding out what it’s like to play with Dart and rejoin his former team.
