Newsday’s annual look at the top Suffolk boys badminton players for the spring 2026 season. Players are listed in alphabetical order. All stats are from last season unless otherwise noted.
Rezvi Ahmed, Brentwood, Sr.
Ahmed went 15-1 in doubles and will be moving to singles this season.
Kian Bowditch, Whitman, Sr.
Bowditch went 13-4 at third singles to help Whitman earn an appearance in the county final.
Jesse Dean, Smithtown East, Sr.
Dean went 12-5 at second singles and is one of four returning starters for the Bulls.
Timothy Kogan, Half Hollow Hills, Jr.
Kogan finished 19-2 at third singles and placed third at the Suffolk individual championship.
Jake Lee, Commack, Jr.
Lee went 12-2 as a freshman and improved his record to 13-1 in singles as a sophomore.
Brian Yun, Half Hollow Hills, Sr.
Yun went 13-2 at second singles for the Suffolk county champions.

The duo finished 15-2 at first doubles and took second place at the Suffolk individual championship.
Joseph Inzirillo and Adrien Rodriguez, Lindenhurst, Srs.
Inzirillo went 8-6 in doubles and will look to improve on that record with Rodriguez as his new partner.
