McKenzi Giles scored a shootout goal to give Floyd a one-goal lead and Kalina-Sky Permenter made her third save of the shootout on the fifth and final shot to lead the Colonials to a 1-0 win over Half Hollow Hills in Suffolk I field hockey on Tuesday.

Floyd (7-5) won the shootout, 2-1. Permenter saved one shot during regulation and overtime. Elizabeth Francis made 13 saves for Half Hollow Hills (3-10).

North Shore 2, Sacred Heart 0: Natalie Yoo and Victoria Monte each scored a goal to lead North Shore (9-0) in non-league. Adrianna Collura made seven saves. Ava Considine made five saves for Sacred Heart (0-5).

MONDAY’S GAME

Southampton 1, West Babylon 0: Carlie Kreymborg scored the winning goal four minutes into overtime to lead Southampton (4-8) in Suffolk II. Isabella Miranda made five saves for West Babylon (0-12).

BOYS SOCCER

Sachem North 1, Central Islip 0: Isaiah Medrano Diaz scored off a rebound of Riley Apicella’s shot in the 61st minute for Sachem North (7-4-2) in Suffolk I. Dylan Barker made six saves to record his fifth shutout. Mark Rodriquez made seven saves for Central Islip (4-6-1).

Freeport 3, Valley Stream Central 1: Kevin Leon had one goal and one assist for Freeport (5-4-1) in Nassau AAA. Anthony Stheven Sagastume made eight saves. Nathaniel Kolm scored for Valley Stream Central (2-8-2).

Garden City 3, MacArthur 1: Matthew DaCosta, Tucker Leake and Joseph LoPiccolo each scored a goal for Garden City (12-2) in Nassau AA-I. Colby Wenk had two assists and Jack Armstrong made two saves. Tristan Magnozzi scored for MacArthur (5-5-1).

GIRLS SOCCER

Comsewogue 2, West Babylon 1: Mia Cappiello scored the winning goal with 3:12 left in the second overtime period to lead Comsewogue (4-6-2) in Suffolk II. Danielle Barreiro scored the tying goal in the second half. Tatiana Panuthos scored and Charlotte Hoisik made seven saves for West Babylon (2-9-1).

Half Hollow Hills West 1, Smithtown East 0: Emelie Asenjo scored in the first half for Half Hollow Hills West (7-3-2) in Suffolk II. Zoe Franks made eight saves. Madison Caglioti had 12 saves for Smithtown East (9-2).

MONDAY’S GAME

Island Trees 1, Carle Place 0: Goalkeeper Olivia Carbonaro scored on a 50-yard free kick and made six saves to lead Island Trees (12-1) in Nassau A/B-II. Brooke Holsgrove made five saves for Carle Place (6-4).

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

North Babylon 3, Copiague 2: Olivia Rush tallied 15 kills and Molly Oak contributed 10 kills to lead North Babylon (2-10), 25-15, 27-25, 15-25, 20-25, 15-11, in Suffolk II. Autumn Sweeney and Milani Russell each had 17 digs and Olivia Sweeney added five aces.

GIRLS SWIMMING

Connetquot 94, Sachem 84: Sophia Fagundas won the 100-yard butterfly in 59.83 seconds to qualify for the state championships for Connetquot (4-0) in Suffolk I. Taryn McKiernan won the 100 backstroke in 1:03.56.

MONDAY’S MEET

Northern Region 91, Hicksville 77: Nina Lemaitre (Locust Valley) qualified for the state meet in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 58.86 seconds and won the 100 backstroke in 1:04.16 in Northern Region’s victory. Lena McAree (Locust Valley) qualified for the county meet in the 50 free with a time of 27.61 and won the 500 free in 6:13.23.
