1. Gavin Mangano, Shoreham-Wading River, 144, Jr., 34-2

Mangano recently won the Eastern States Classic for the fourth time. He is only the third wrestler to do that. Mangano, a Penn State commit, is a three-time D-II state finalist and a two-time state champion.

2. Camryn Howard, Bellport, 157, Soph., 38-0

Howard won both state and national freestyle tournaments last season. He is the second wrestler to win Suffolk D-I titles in seventh, eight and ninth grade.

3. Dunia Sibomana-Rodriguez, Long Beach, 126, Sr., 32-3

He is a four-time Nassau champion and state place winner. He is a three-time D-I state finalist and a two-time state champion. He is committed to the University of North Carolina.

4. Devin Downes, Plainedge, 215, Sr., 27-5

Don’t let his record fool you. All of his losses are against out-of-state opponents, ranked among the best in the country. Downes is a two-time state champion. He won the Division I title at 170 pounds as a sophomore. Last year, he won the Division II title at 190. Downes won this year's Eastern States Classic at 215 pounds.

5. Jake Nieto, Massapequa, 138, Jr., 27-1

Nieto is wrestling for his third school in three years. He was a Nassau runner-up at 131 pounds as a freshman for Plainedge. As a sophomore, he took second in the CHSAA state tournament at 131 pounds for Chaminade. Nieto is the top-ranked wrestler in his weight. Nieto won this year's Eastern States Classic at 138 poiunds.

6. Ethan Andreula, Long Beach, 110, Soph., 18-0

He won Nassau D-I titles as both a seventh and an eighth-grader. He lost in the Nassau finals a year ago. Andreula is a three-time state place winner, finishing third in each of the last two years. This year, he beat two all-state wrestlers to win the Eastern States Classic.

7. Matthew McDermott, Smithtown East, 144, Soph., 34-2

McDermott reached the D-I state finals a year ago, losing to Luke Satriano of Valley Central by a fall in 5:19. McDermott took third in Suffolk as an eighth grader. He is ranked second in the state at 144 pounds.

8. Jon Tutku, Massapequa, 110, Fr., 21-2

Tutku is the defending D-I state champion at 101 pounds. He became just the third eighth-grader in Nassau to win a state title. He is ranked second in the state at 110 pounds.

9. Anthony Severino, Lindenhurst, 132, Sr., 33-1

As a sophomore, Severino was the Suffolk champion and a state D-I runner-up at 116 pounds. Last season, he took second in Suffolk and third in the state. He is ranked second in the state at 132 pounds.

10. Xavier Seabury, North Babylon, 110, Soph., 30-1

Last season, Seabury finished third in both the Suffolk and state D-I tournaments at 102 pounds. He was the runner-up to Andreula at the Eastern States Classic. He is ranked second in the state at 110 pounds.
