fit20 coming soon to Aliano Shopping Center in Miller Place this fall

A fitness franchise that says customers can see results with one 20-minute session a week plans to open its first Long Island location.

The company, fit20, announced last week that it was coming to the Aliano Shopping Center on Route 25A in Miller Place.

Shopping center owner and landlord Nick Aliano confirmed the company signed a lease for the space.

The Miller Place location is owned by Giovanni "Gio" Dinsay, a physical therapist who owns Within Normal Limits Physical Therapy, according to a release from the company. The practice has 23 locations, including one in the Aliano Shopping Center.

Dinsay did not respond to multiple requests for comment.

The Miller Place studio is the first Long Island location on the fit20 website, which does not list an opening date.

Branded a high-intensity strength training workout completed in 20 minutes with the slogan, "Fit in 20 minutes per week," the international franchise has locations in Virginia, Utah, Texas and Michigan. Fit20 advertises the workout as "sweat-free" in a "cool studio."
