Fans of Starbucks' Pumpkin Spice Latte can now have a taste of fall in the summer at one of more than 100 locations on Long Island.
The popular coffee drink was available starting Monday at Starbucks stores across the United States and Canada. The seasonal drink debuted at 100 stores throughout Seattle and Vancouver in 2003 and evolved to include real pumpkin puree in 2015, according to the company.
The Pumpkin Spice Latte is Starbucks’ most popular seasonal beverage, according to The Associated Press, with hundreds of millions sold since the espresso drink’s launch. The latte has spurred imitations, including pumpkin-flavored drinks from Dunkin' and McDonald’s.
Pumpkin Spice Latte coffee beans and creamers are also now available at grocery stores, and ready-to-drink Pumpkin Spice Lattes can be found at grocery stores, national retailers, convenience stores and gas stations nationwide, according to Starbucks.
