Olivia Colman to join 'Only Murders in the Building'

The new season of "Only Murders in the Building" won't just be featuring all the usual suspects. Oscar winner Olivia Colman will be joining Hulu's comedy mystery series as it relocates from New York City to London for its sixth season.

A video posted on the series' Instagram page on Tuesday featured stars Martin Short and Selena Gomez, along with semiregular Meryl Streep, sharing the news. "We've had so many amazing guest stars for 'Only Murders in London,' " Gomez said in the video.

Streep followed with: "Yeah, but we're just missing one." 

"It's," said Gomez, who was then upstaged by Short and then an appearance by Colman in costume, followed by shouts of "Woo hoo!" from the other three actors. Other guest stars for the second include David Tennant, Martin Freeman, "Moulin Rouge!" Oscar winner Jim Broadbent, Jennifer Saunders, Geri Halliwell and Derek Jacobi.

Although he didn't appear in the video, the show's other star, Steve Martin, will also be back for the new season. 

Filming for season 6 began in May, but the premiere date has not been revealed yet.

"Only Murders in the Building" is up for five Emmy Awards, which will be given out on Sept. 14. Among its nominations are one for outstanding comedy series and another for short as lead actor.
