Nassau police identified Robert Dwyer, of Hicksville, as the pedestrian who was fatally struck by three cars early Wednesday morning on the service road to the Long Island Expressway in Jericho.

Police said Dwyer, 43, was walking east on the North Service Road near Open Street when he was struck about 6 a.m. by a 79-year-old man driving a 2023 Mazda.

He was then struck by a man driving a 2021 Alfa Romeo and a woman driving a 2014 Mazda sedan. 

All three drivers remained at the scene. Police did not provide more information about the circumstances behind the incident.
