A 778-square-foot cottage in Centerport is on the market for $599,000.
"There's nothing for sale at this price range in this area," said listing agent Cathy Deignan, of Daniel Gale Sotheby's International Realty.
The two-bed, one-bath cottage and detached one-car garage sit on a 0.12-acre parcel. Taxes on the property, which is in the Harborfields Central School District, total $5,584.
"It's adorable, actually," Deignan said. "Very cozy."
In the kitchen, wood paneling and cabinetry offset a white oven and refrigerator. Dark beams run across a white living room ceiling. The house has a stone-framed, wood-burning fireplace and baseboard heating.
According to Deignan, updates made from around 2013 to 2015 included siding, a roof, windows and a heating system.
Residents of the home can pay $320 annually to join the Huntington Beach Community Association, which offers access to such amenities as a private beach, kayak storage, boat mooring and a playground, Deignan said.
"That's a big appeal to this area. People love that," she said. "It brings community. They have parties down there, so it's social, as well."
