The Yankees last Friday announced their giveaway schedule for 2026. The Mets had previously announced their giveaway schedule through the end of June. Here is a countdown of the top 10 promotional items so far this season.
Note: Only the first 18,000 guests snag the swag unless stated otherwise.
10. Juan Soto 40/30 Bobblehead, April 11
Soto’s first season as a Met (43 homers, 38 stolen bases) is celebrated with the outfielder standing with a bat next to a stack of pilfered bases.
9. Aaron Judge MVP Bobblehead, June 20
The robe and gavel make this an MVP-worthy giveaway item. All rise!
8. Yankees Soccer Jersey, June 18
With the World Cup starting in the U.S. in June, the Yankees went all-in on a "U-S-A! U-S-A!" theme with a jersey full of stars and a single interlocking NY.
7. Mets Soccer Jersey, June 11 (first 15,000 fans)
With a soccer stadium being built next to Citi Field, the Mets went with a classic jersey design that incorporates the team colors and logo.
6. Mr. Met at the Unisphere Light-Up Bobblehead, April 25
A Mets icon and a Queens icon in one bobblehead. It lights up . . . but do you take it out to play with it or keep it in mint condition in the box? The eternal bobblehead conundrum.
5. Yankees Hockey Jersey, April 17
Sometimes you get a jersey and it’s not something you really want to wear. This one has a classic look and will no doubt immediately be worn throughout the stands for the game with the Royals. Just no five for fighting please.
4. 5-Borough Race Kids Puzzle, March 29 (first 5,000 kids 12 and under)
The 5-Borough race was a hit in its first season in 2025, even though the Bronx Giraffe never won a single race. At least the giraffe is represented in the puzzle.
3. Max Fried Mandalorian Bobblehead, May 2

Star Wars Day is actually May 4 (may the fourth be with you). This giveaway is worth it for the adorable Baby Yoda figure sitting next to Fried. And it doesn’t matter that Baby Yoda’s real name is Grogu, he’ll always be Baby Yoda. The Mets are giving away a similar Nolan McLean Star Wars / Baby Yoda bobblehead on May 14, but you have to buy a special event ticket to get that one.
2. George Costanza Calzone Bobblehead, Aug. 27
“Seinfeld” went off the air in 1998, but the Yankees’ fictional assistant to the traveling secretary lives on in reruns and bobblehead lore. You’ll almost be able to smell the calzones as you approach the stadium. Get there early – people line up hours and hours before the game when a Costanza bobblehead is the giveaway.
1. Bobby Valentine Disguise, May 29 (first 15,000 fans)
Who can forget when Bobby V snuck back into the dugout wearing sunglasses and a fake mustache after he had been ejected from a 1999 game? Fans get to relive that magical moment and the Mets’ promotions department gets a 10 out of 10 for originality.
