The Mets are mired in a seven-game losing streak, but owner Steve Cohen is looking at the bright side — and he wants fans to do the same.

Cohen took to X after Tuesday's 2-1 loss to the Dodgers to post some of the positives he noticed from the game, along with some encouraging injury news, and asked Mets fans to "hang in there" amid the slump.

"Nobody likes to lose but I saw some 'green shoots' tonight," Cohen posted. "On offense, [Francisco] Lindor had two hits including a home run. [Bo] Bichette got a double hitting it to left field as opposed to recently being right field prone. [Carson] Benge got a solid hit. [Juan] Soto started his running progression today. [Marcus] Semien hit a shot that might have been a home run on a warmer night. Finally, Nolan McLean pitched an outstanding game going 7 innings. Hang in there fans, we will turn this around!"

Lindor, who entered Tuesday's game hitting .176, hit a solo shot on the third pitch of the game, and McLean pitched seven innings of two-hit, one-run ball in a pitchers' duel with reigning World Series MVP Yoshinobu Yamamoto.

Soto, who was placed on the injured list last week with a right calf strain, is expected to rejoin the Mets in another 1-2 weeks.
