The Piano Man has earned his pinstripes.
On Tuesday, Major League Baseball posted to X a photo of a bobblehead of Billy Joel – who was born in the Bronx before growing up in Hicksville – donning a Yankees hat and jersey while playing the piano.
The first 18,000 fans who attend the Yankees home game against the Cubs on Friday, July 11 will receive the bobblehead.

The giveaway comes exactly one week before Joel will perform at Yankee Stadium alongside fellow Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Rod Stewart on July 18.
Joel played two sold-out concerts at the old Yankee Stadium in June 1990, becoming the first rock artist to play at the home of the Yankees.
