Gridiron Greats from Week 2 of the high school football season

Xavier Bala, St. Anthony’s: He rushed for 146 yards and four touchdowns on 10 carries in a 48-20 win over Kellenberg.
Greyson Cabrera, Northport: He returned two interceptions for scores, the first from 28 yards and the second from 55 and caught a 53-yard TD pass in a 55-21 win over Hills East.
Braydon Cipp, Bellport: The quarterback rushed for 145 yards on 18 carries and scored both Bellport TDs in a 16-7 win over Connetquot. He also had seven tackles, and an interception.
Matt Corrado, Kings Park: He had four receptions for 183 yards, two TDs, an INT and a fumble recovery in a 39-7 win over Hampton Bays.
Josh Kama, Farmingdale: He set a Long Island record with 495 yards rushing and scored seven TDs in a 64-57 win over Oceanside.
Shane Kiernan, Miller Place: He completed 23 of 37 passes for 357 yards and four TDs in a 34-33 win over Glenn. He led the Panthers on a 75-yard drive with 58 seconds left for the win.
Conor Kenefick, West Islip: He had five receptions for 163 yards and three TDs in a 28-17 win over Westhampton.
Jack Ferraro, Hicksville: He completed 12 of 20 passes for 255 yards and three scores in a 42-6 win over Uniondale.
Josh Franchak, Bayport-Blue Point: The junior halfback had 190 yards on 17 carries and three TDs in a 48-0 win over Shoreham-Wading River.
Joey Hershey, Eastport-South Manor: He had 17 carries for 145 yards and three scores in a 31-14 win over Harborfields.
Ryan Leary, Carle Place: He had a 5-yard TD run and made field goals of 32 yards and 35 yards in a 49-20 loss to Lynbrook.
Peter Malone, West Islip: He had two INTs in a 28-17 win over Westhampton.
Michael Potash, Lynbrook: He rushed for 168 yards and four TDs on 12 carries in a 49-20 win over Carle Place.
Jahavi Reyes, West Babylon: He rushed for two scores and threw a TD pass in a 23-20 win over Deer Park. He added 13 tackles and two deflected passes.
Jake Rivera, Floyd: Rivera had 13 tackles, four for loss, and three sacks in Floyd’s 20-0 shutout over Brentwood.
Marco Rodriguez, Hicksville: He caught six passes for 136 yards and two scores in a 42-6 win over Uniondale.
A.J. Rudolph, Miller Place: He had eight catches for 144 yards and three scores in a 34-33 win over Glenn.
Kyon Sarwari, Longwood: He rushed for 158 yards and three TDs on 23 carries in a 19-7 win over Sachem East.
Chase Samelson, Lynbrook: He completed 7 of 12 passes for 156 yards and a TD and rushed for 143 yards on eight carries in a 49-20 win over Carle Place.
Henry Sarro, Sachem North: He rushed for 132 yards and two TDs on 10 carries in a 33-7 win over Whitman.
Kyon Sarwari, Longwood: He rushed 23 times for 158 yards and three TDs in a bounce back 19-7 win over Sachem East.
