PSAL 4A
Tyler Grayson had two rushing touchdowns and caught a 35-yard TD pass to lead host Eagle Academy II to a 59-6 win over Brooklyn Tech in PSAL 4A on Friday. Zy'eare Schulters rushed for two touchdowns. Aaron Smith threw three touchdown passes. Juvens Lindor and Sincere Hester each caught a touchdown pass in the second half. Isaiah Morrison-Strong had a rushing touchdown for Eagle Academy II (2-0) Cole Scanlon found Caleb Fisher for a 42-yard touchdown pass for Brooklyn Tech.
Tottenville 47, DeWitt Clinton 0: Jaden Innocent and Kyle Charles each had an interception return for a touchdown to lead visiting Tottenville (2-0). Tyshawn Bent had a 45-yard rushing touchdown and Kory Brown ran for a 24-yard touchdown. Justin McGuire connected with Nicolas Constantino on a 40-yard TD pass. Joe Gallina collected a rushing touchdown.
Curtis 35, Wagner 3: Vin Canzoneri completed 9-of-10 passes for 154 yards and three touchdowns to lead visiting Curtis (2-0). Jayden Melendez had five receptions for 72 yards and a touchdown. Quadare Gomez had 12 carries for 110 yards and two touchdowns. Jarrett Serate, Jalil Parnell and Danny Lewis each had a tackle for loss.
Erasmus Hall 47, New Dorp 0: Kendu Brown threw for 109 yards and two touchdowns and added 61 rushing yards and a touchdown to lead visiting Erasmus Hall (2-0). Richuard Dobbin rushed for 33 yards and two touchdowns. Logan Clark-Laurent had a 80-yard receiving TD, 20-yard rushing touchdown and an interception.
SATURDAY
South Shore 44, Port Richmond 18: George Adams threw four touchdown passes to lead host South Shore (2-0). Jason Deonarinesingh had two receiving touchdowns. Adrian Antoine had over 50 receiving yards and added a rushing touchdown. Tymir Lewis and Silas Sealy each caught a touchdown pass. Trevor Smith Jr. had an interception.
Fort Hamilton 44, Canarsie 6: Zakaria Benchemmar had two interception returns for touchdowns to lead host Fort Hamilton (1-1). Ajani Carew-Robinson returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown. Aiden Porter and Thomas O'Neil each had a rushing touchdown. Emanuel King also scored a rushing touchdown.
PSAL 3A
Truman 20, Midwood 0: Shavon Richardson opened the scoring with a 25-yard touchdown run in the third quarter to lead host Truman (1-1) on Saturday. Rossallan Horne-Joseph scored a 27-yard rushing touchdown and Derrick Gardiner had a 60-yard interception return for a touchdown.
FRIDAY’S GAME
Stuyvesant 35, Lehman 18: Aiden Bailey ran 14 times for 148 yards and a touchdown and returned an interception 60 yards for a score to lead Stuyvesant (2-0) at Pier 40 in Manhattan on Friday night. Stuyvesant's first two touchdowns came on interception returns. Joe Bido followed Bailey's first-quarter return with a 100-yard interception return touchdown in the second quarter. Fynn Chadwick threw a 10-yard touchdown pass to Isaac Peng and Bailey scored a 4-yard rushing touchdown in the third quarter. Chadwick rushed for 56 yards and a 3-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter. Lehman opened the scoring with an 80-yard kickoff return by Aiden Colon. Kevin Moran had two receptions for 103 yards.
SUNDAY'S GAME
A. Philip Randolph 51, Franklin K. Lane 6: Ahmed Toure ran for touchdowns of 10, 80 and 15 yards to lead A. Philip Randolph (2-0) on Sunday at George Washington High School Field in Manhattan. Quarterback Emmanuel Opoku went 3-for-4 for 130 yards and a touchdown, passed for a pair of two-point conversions and connected on three of his four extra-point kicks. A. Philip Randolph led 21-0 after one quarter following Toure's first TD run, Opoku's 70-yard scoring pass to Zahaire Jones and Opoku's 15-yard run to the end zone. Toure had his other two scoring runs in the third quarter. It was 51-0 in the fourth quarter before Franklin K. Lane (0-2) finally scored on a 6-yard run by Xavier Payne.
PSAL 2A
Boys and Girls 16, Beach Channel 0: Bryce Morano ran for 85 yards and a touchdown to lead Boys and Girls (2-0) on Saturday. Jerell Johnson ran for 75 yards on eight carries, while Jordan Monroe rushed for a touchdown and a two-point conversion. Heron Naraine made eight tackles, two of which were sacks.
Transit Tech CTE 44, Christopher Columbus 0: Corey Williams returned a kickoff for a touchdown and also rushed for a pair of two-point conversions to lead Transit Tech CTE (2-0). Daniel Hall caught two long touchdown passes from Devin Smith, while Kyle McKay ran for two touchdowns. Kenon Welcome also rushed for a touchdown. Jaiden Walker started the scoring with a sack for a safety. Terry McKay had an interception, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery. Elijah Raymond had an interception and Bryan Harmon had a fumble recovery.
Flushing 12, Jamaica 6: Isaiah Olivera ran for a 2-yard touchdown and Kai Ofori had a 39-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter to lead Flushing (1-1). Sami Khazir had two interceptions and Karelle Haynes added an interception and a fumble recovery. Bodhi Gorelick caught a 22-yard touchdown pass from Jordan Brown for Jamaica.
William C. Bryant 22, Far Rockaway 0: Mahdi Kobeissi ran for 83 yards and a touchdown and had eight tackles and a sack to lead William C. Bryant (2-0). Roquan Daniels had 44 rushing yards and a touchdown and Lorenzo Lopez had a 39-yard touchdown run. Adam Oueriaguli caught four passes for 44 yards.
Eagle Academy for Young Men III 41, Grand Street 0: Jordan Smith completed 10-of-15 passes for 224 yards and two touchdowns for Eagle Academy III (2-0). Khasir Wright caught a pair of passes for 110 yards and two touchdowns. Cory Gibson caught four passes for 38 yards and a touchdown. Josiah Rushing had four catches for 58 yards. Dajahn Gordan had two interceptions, including one returned for a touchdown. Adrian Syndey had two sacks. Jameer Johnson ran for a 4-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter and completed a two-point conversion to Jahmir Lopez after big runs from Josyth Reid set Eagle Academy III up in the red zone.
PSAL 1A
Lafayette 32, George Washington 16: Momin Ali ran for 85 yards and two touchdowns to lead visiting Lafayette (1-0). Anthony Montalvo threw for 138 yards and a touchdown. Braylen Otero had 65 yards and a touchdown on two receptions. Bairon Martinez tallied eight tackles and one interception.
Adlai Stevenson 8, Information Technology 0: Jahmire McNatt scored a 21-yard rushing touchdown and Marquis Dawson ran in the two-point conversion to lead Adlai Stevenson (2-0).
Mott Haven 18, East Harlem 6: Rudolf Akumani threw for 58 yards and rushed for 106 yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries to lead Mott Haven (1-0). Nelson Newman rushed for 30 yards and a touchdown on six carries. Rafael Reyes had two fumble recoveries.
Grady 22, Long Island City 0: Brian De Campos-Cohen completed 7-of-14 passes for 76 yards and a touchdown to lead Grady (1-0). Vishon Garcia caught two passes for 24 yards and a touchdown and Joseph Watson ran for 101 yards and a touchdown. Dushawn Bailey had 13 tackles and 1 tackle for loss.
FRIDAY’S GAME
Petrides 47, August Martin 8: David Lee threw for 113 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 71 yards and a touchdown to lead Petrides (3-0). Lee threw a 65-yard touchdown to Mike Giordano and a 35-yard touchdown to Aiden Gonzalez. Youssef Elhadad had a fumble recovery in the end zone for a touchdown. Josh Okwuabueze, Ayden Rivero and Elias Hardt each had a touchdown run. Nooa Allen threw a 9-yard touchdown to Tyrese Vassell and LeBron Fisher ran in a two-point conversion for August Martin.
