Rod Stewart will play Wantagh's Northwell at Jones Beach Theater this summer as part of his ongoing "One Last Time" tour.

Tickets for the July 31 show, which will also feature singer Richard Marx, go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.

Stewart, 80, continues to carry the classic rock torch alongside Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, The Rolling Stones, The Who and other late-life touring acts. His famously raspy voice and peacock hairdo have been his personal signatures since his years in the English rock band Faces, through his peak solo years in the 1970s and '80s and into his more recent incarnation as an interpreter of the Great American Songbook. Stewart’s set lists have been drawing from across his long career, according to Setlist.fm; one recent show included the Faces’ "Stay With Me," Stewart’s solo disco hit "Da Ya Think I’m Sexy?" and a cover of Sam Cooke’s "Twistin’ the Night Away."

Stewart has endured a series of health setbacks in recent years. Since 2000 he has been treated for both thyroid cancer and prostate cancer. In June, Stewart canceled a number of U.S. concerts to recover from the flu, according to the BBC.
