A week after he returned to TV after his suspension by ABC, Jimmy Kimmel is bringing his late-night talk show to Brooklyn again.
"Jimmy Kimmel Live!" will air shows Monday through Friday taped in advance in front of an audience at the Brooklyn Academy of Music’s Howard Gilman Opera House.
An impressive list of guests will be showing up, including Kimmel's talk-show compatriot, Stephen Colbert, whose "Late Show" will end its CBS run in May. Kimmel will return the favor and appear on Colbert's show the same night. (The hosts' Tuesday taping schedules have been adjusted to make the double appearance possible. Kimmel will meet Colbert first in Brooklyn before the two head to the Ed Sullivan Theater in Manhattan for Colbert’s taping, according to latenighter.com.)
Here's the rundown:
Monday: Ryan Reynolds, Josh Johnson, Public Enemy
Tuesday: Stephen Colbert, Kumail Nanjiani, Reneé Rapp
Wednesday: Emily Blunt, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Geese, Big Daddy Kane sits in with Cleto and the Cletones
Thursday: Jeremy Allen White, Bruce Springsteen, Living Colour, Ivan Neville sits in with Cleto and the Cletones
Friday: Tom Hanks, Spike Lee
This will be the seventh time that "Jimmy Kimmel Live!” has originated from Brooklyn and broadcast from BAM.
On Friday, Kimmel's broadcast was restored to ABC affiliate stations by station owners Sinclair Broadcast Group and Nexstar Media Group, ending a dayslong blackout for dozens of cities.
