Online: The Revolutionary Women of Hamilton

Jul21

Eliza was more than the "best of wives," Maria was more than a pamphlet... and Peggy was more than an afterthought. In this 45-minute presentation, learn about the Schuyler sisters along with other notable revolutionary women from the hit Broadway musical Hamilton with historian and public speaker, Marti Londal. Londal has been a chapter president with the Alexander Hamilton Awareness Society since 2015. She loves confronting myths propagated by the musical and using the recent enthusiasm for Revolutionary War history to go beyond the traditional textbooks to examine how precedents set 250 years ago are still very much a part of our daily lives. register for a Zoom link
