• He opened Sal's Ristorante in Smithtown over a decade ago.
• He has served as president of the Commack South Little League.

ISSUES

• Formica said a top priority is to help make Suffolk County "safer" and "more prosperous" by supporting mental health initiatives and through fiscal responsibility.
• He said expanding on infrastructure with sewer projects is another priority.
