A waterfront home in Laurel is on the market for $3.3 million. The taxes are $18,402.

The house was built in 2000 and contains three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Spanning 2,492 square feet, it stands tall on Great Peconic Bay Boulevard.

"There's a nice, winding driveway," said listing agent Susan Orioli, of Engel & Völkers North Fork. "It's really private."

The backyard faces Great Peconic Bay. There are plenty of water views from inside the home, such as from the second-floor bedrooms and windows on the main floor that are "almost floor to ceiling" in length, Orioli said.

"The high ceilings with the windows on the bay side really bring it all together," she added.

Tiers of steps lead down closer to the water from the yard. The homeowner would be able to add mooring for easy access to a boat, Orioli said.

Other notable features include a wood-burning fireplace in the living room, a gas fireplace in the kitchen, a first-floor primary suite, a back deck overlooking specimen plantings and central air conditioning.

There is an additional structure on the property called the carriage house — it's a two-car garage with a loft space. The upper level has potential to be transformed into a "guest suite, artist studio or home office" among other possibilities, the agent said.

The property is in the Mattituck-Cutchogue Union Free School District.

"It's a really tranquil, tree-lined street," Orioli said.
