South Jamesport house for sale on beach overlooking Flanders Bay

"It's complete beachfront — like, feet in the sand the moment you get out of the car," said Salegna, of Douglas Elliman.

Salegna described the address, which falls within the Riverhead Central School District, as "very private, very secluded." There is a detached one-car garage on the property.

Built in 1978, the house measures 1,285 square feet, according to property records.

"It has walls of glass windows, to kind of capture that coastal scenery full time," Salegna said. "Sunrise, sunset."

On the main level, there is one bedroom, one bathroom, a kitchen and living room. The remaining two bedrooms are upstairs, Salegna said. The house has central air conditioning and electric heating systems.

"It's a very understated property, it's not like this McMansion," Salegna said. "It's like understated luxury."

French doors on the upper level open onto a top deck. Sliding doors lead out to parallel decking on the main level below.

"When you get there, and you walk onto the deck," Salegna said, "you feel like you're in a different world."
