An expanded cottage from 1800 in Sag Harbor is on the market for $3.9 million. Taxes are $8,171.
The house sits on Fresh Pond Road, spanning 2,636 square feet. It contains four bedrooms and four bathrooms, on a 0.28-acre lot. The property is in the Sag Harbor Union Free School District.
The listing is held by the CeeJackTeam at Compass, which includes agents Jack Pearson and Jeremy Dunham.

In the last two years, the seller added an all-season porch, which includes radiant-heated flooring and removable glass panes. In that time, the primary bathroom was also gut-renovated and all of the flooring was restored, Barisich said.

The property was expanded sometime around 2020, Barisich said, but a handful of vintage features still remain, like the front door.
"I believe most of the doors from the original 1800s portion of the house have been repurposed elsewhere," he said. "The front half of the house is the original cottage. Wherever there were doors, they've been taken and used as either a closet or side door in the expanded portion of the house."
