Alana LaMorte won her 250th game as Miller Place head coach as the Panthers defeated West Babylon, 8-0, in Suffolk Division II field hockey on Thursday.
It’s LaMorte’s 19th year leading the program.
Giulia Francese scored two goals. Mackenzie Burger, Ava Walter and Zoe Weisman each added a goal and an assist and Stella Musso had two assists for Miller Place (6-3).
Bayport-Blue Point 2, Pierson/ Bridgehampton 0: Lily LiPuma and Payton Weybrecht each scored to lead Bayport-Blue Point (8-0).
East Hampton 2, Southampton 0: Merritt Bistrian-Emptage had a goal and an assist and Sabrina Texis added a goal to lead East Hampton (4-5).
New Hyde Park 1, East Meadow 0: Emily Sepcaru scored the lone goal with 5:06 left in the second quarter to lead New Hyde Park (6-1) in Nassau II. Ava Onorato recorded a defensive save to preserve the win and Cal Rozier made two saves in goal.
BOYS SOCCER
Jericho 3, Roslyn 2: Matthew Li scored the winning goal with eight seconds left after Avery Ragozino headed a cross from Niko Charalambous toward the net for Jericho (3-5-2) in Nassau AA-I. Jericho’s Luke Rush tied the score off an assist from Aydin Cosgrave with three minutes left in the second half. Cosgrave added a goal. Dan Levine had two goals for Roslyn (3-4-2).
Sayville 2, Mount Sinai 1: Noah Rubenstein scored the winning goal in the first overtime in Suffolk III. Mason Mosca made 17 saves, including one on a penalty kick, for Sayville (1-5-1). Braeden Skelly had a goal and an assist.
Paul Sheiffele scored the tying goal in the second half and Ryan Pero made 15 saves for Mount Sinai (3-5).
Shoreham-Wading River 3, Rocky Point 0: Zach Makarewicz had two goals and Johnny Zoumas had two assists to lead Shoreham-Wading River (9-0) in Suffolk III.
Lindenhurst 2, Central Islip 0: Gary Alvarez had a goal and an assist and Chris Mejia made eight saves to lead Lindenhurst (5-1-2) in Suffolk I.
Longwood 1, Sachem North 0: Erick Castro scored with 20 minutes left to lead Longwood (6-2). Ronald Jamaury Washington made 12 saves.
Brentwood 4, Floyd 2: Mauricio Bonilla scored two goals to lead Brentwood (8-0-1). Diego Argueta added one goal and one assist and Jessy Pacheco had two assists. Joe Fernandez and Yaeil Jara scored for Floyd (3-5).

West Islip 2, Smithtown West 1: Leah Tomeo and Francesca Tofano scored to lead West Islip (7-0-1) in Suffolk II.
Eastport-South Manor 2, East Islip 1: Sophia Colavito and Gia DaCunha each scored for Eastport-South Manor (7-1-1).
Half Hollow Hills West 4, Half Hollow Hills East 0: Ella Candel scored three goals to lead Half Hollow Hills West (4-1).
Patchogue-Medford 2, Newfield 0: Addison Ruland scored both goals to lead Patchogue-Medford (5-4) in Suffolk I.
Commack 3, Huntington 1: Sofia D’Alessandro scored the winning goal with 15 minutes left off an assist from Sarah Franke to lead Commack (8-0). Bree Mender scored two goals.
Longwood 2, Connetquot 0: Grace Mitchell scored off a cross from Brooke Pfeiffer and Mia Drossel scored on a penalty kick to lead Longwood (5-2).
Floral Park 4, Lynbrook 2: Christina Vargas had two goals and Bella Devita had three assists for Floral Park (4-3-1) in non-league.
Great Neck South 2, Valley Stream North 0: Hannah Hui had a goal and an assist to lead Great Neck South (1-4-1) in Nassau AB-III.
