• Bennardo is seeking a second term after being elected in 2021.

• Bennardo is the former superintendent of the South Huntington school district and currently serves as the director of public school partnerships at St. John’s University.

ISSUES

• Bennardo said he wants to continue providing public services for residents without raising taxes.
