• Grizopoulos, 47, of Melville, is a registered Conservative running on the Republican Party line for Huntington Council in the primary election.
• He practices personal injury and criminal defense law at his firm Grizopoulos & Portz PC.

• Grizopoulos worked as an assistant district attorney for Nassau County after graduating from University at Buffalo’s law school in 2002. 

ISSUES

• Grizopoulos said he wants to work with law enforcement to shut down noisy gatherings at a local park-and-ride.
• He said he is passionate about limiting overdevelopment, like preventing parks from becoming housing projects.
